I like adventure, live at little of it now and then. But more and more I feel like the actors in Galaxy Quest. Used up, touring the malls, the every day grind.
Something fantastic and spectacular should happen.

Watching dr. Who and old star trek episodes. Make me think of the latest star trek series, about that crew on their five year mission of vengeance, times change I guess. Watching that new pirates of the caribbean film, full of darkness and death it couldn't make me laugh once. Was 'sposed to be an adventure. Instead it was social commentary in a dark and disturbing world. But I live in that world every day of my life, and I don't need to see it on film. I like old horror movies, a good scare a day keeps the doctor away. New horror movies aren't so much scary as they are disturbing and boring at the same time([whisper] like the world).

Intelectualisation is spreading and we seem to be losing all that is good in its wake of rationalisation and logic. The world is overpopulated. It is perfectly rational to kill the 2 billion poorest people. Makes a better world for the rest of us rich cats. Anything can be rationalised, and more and more everything is.

I walk into the valley of death without fear, for I know that He is with me.
