Challenge

I was asked if I didn't find it challenging to compete in the economic system and provide for myself.

No.

Why?

Because the system is rigged and so you win by cheating. It doesn't appeal to me, call me old fashioned if you will.

What do I find challenging?

Dealing with humanity, exploring the universe, creation.

I could have been an excellent still photographer but why ain't I?

Because I don't find it challenging. Creating a perfect still is a minor logistical challenge, it's too easy. A few days work.

I want to make moving images because I find it challenging. It is difficult.

When I do something easy my mind is elsewhere, off on a daydream, I don't pay attention to what I do and so deliver bad work.

I work because I want to become distracted from myself.

When I do something difficult my mind is occupied with the task at hand. I forget myself.

Making money is not difficult. I can massproduce it on my color printer. So I don't do it.
