Whoops

The hydrogen economy is bust. The only energy alternative liked by the powers that be. That might be bad. Remember those people who designed a spaceship with wings? There is no air in space. Well, they like hydrogen because on an economic level it is the same as oil. Renewable energy will put them out busines. Besides, most people don't want renewable energy. Windmillfarms are too ugly, besides they hurt the environment(!). I guess the concept of renewable energy is entirely to communistic or altruistic for most people to bare. When you live in an evil society good becomes incomprehensible.

People hurt the environment. The very fabric of society hurt the environment.

We live on a planet of life. Deep sea researchers see ecosystems arise and perish in the depths of the ocean. Remarkably fast too. Apply energy to the chemical soup and life comes out of nothing. It is a most unique and remarkable planet we live on, and it will no doubt outlive us. The planet is six billion years old, it took three billion years to generate the nescessary conditions for life. It took another three billion years for that life to evolve into our complexity, with a many a restart on the way...

The planet has 5 billion years left before it is finally engulfed by the sun.

Time enough to create a new advanced lifeform after we selfdestruct. Maybe it will be different.

Maybe a few of us will survive and make a new civilization. The safety of our species cannot be assured before we are spread out of over several star systems.

This single sphere we live on will not cater to our whims, we are getting out of hand and like any other science experiment gone wrong the planet is preparing to terminate us. Or more accurately, it is we who are preparing to terminate us, using the planet as our mean.

Industry.

Gaia.

Industry.

Gaia.

Earth.

Soul.

I clutch my fingers in the frozen dirt and I cry out to the heavens save us from ourselves.

Save me.
