unfair

Ok, it was unfair of me to say there was no music in 2006 just because I wasn't in 2006. Fine.

Now something different. I've managed to acquire a laptop. A two year old Dell with centrino. No 3d but hey, it's for work. Smelly dismal.

And then the great nodal point of our time. 9/11. It reminds me more and more of some shots fired in Sarajevo alongtime ago. If the rest of the story turns out the same as well...

Oh lord.

But how *can* it play out? What are the options?

Here's one extreme. A full scale civil war erupts in Iraq, neighboring countries feeds the fire and the west is purged. A new islamic superblock emerges. Israel falls. The death toll is vast.

Here's the other end of the scale. A democratic government is elected and respected, they rebuild the country and maintain a cautious relationship with the west while they sell most of the oil to the east. Neighbouring countries ease off the pressure and the west gives some slack. Israel commences an uneasy truce with palestine.



Palestine.

How can Israel vs. Palestine end?

It's been a disaster from day one. Although it would seem Israels culturewar is entering it's final stage. The palestinians have nothing. They've tried nice governments, they've tried bad goverments, they've tried to rebuild, they've tried to elect the local thugs into government. The palestinians are out of options for real. They have nothing. They will lose.

But then, they keep coming back...
