Going to america...
Yes, I've been really considering it. But then I read this:

I always travel with alot of data. I now have 1.3 terabytes of online data and about ten times that offline. I couldn't possibly risk having it stolen by the american governement, it's my lifes work.
What I really want is internet storage space. I write this on a 20mbit internet connection. Ofcourse, some government might steal that anyway. So what is an artist to do, artists have been fleeing governments since time began. I mean, it's bad enough being an outcast among the people but when the government hates you as well you're in for a rough ride. In particular fascist governments have been known to control artistic expression. Look at the fabulous graphic design of hitler or stalin, I suppose it's the real reason bush failed; his design was crap, his slogans embarrasing. Who would want to follow crap over an extended period of time?
And then I could travel without my data, which is so awkard. I just had my first work rejected, I haven't delivered alot of works for other people, maybe a couple. Not my loss I think, I mean; it's weird not being in total artistic control but you do what you do. My style is quite solidified by now, it is what it is and if you pay me to do something it is what you get, then again I don't actually expect to get paid for a rejected work. But that's just me. Imagine that applying to world leaders.
No matter, I've been telling everyone to give me cash for xmas cause I want a Wii. I remember when Nintendo were the only ones, not in actuality but in peoples minds, before the release of the Sony playstation there was no doubt that Nintendo ruled computer gaming. And soon they will rule again, while Microsoft and Sony have been standing still in outdated paradigms Nintendo has moved on. And while the playstation3 is a clone of the playstation2 which is a clone of playstation1, and while the xbox360 is a clone of the xbox which was designed to compete with the playstation2 and therefore a clone of playstation1. I mean the playstation1 was an innovative product in its time, no. 2 and 3 is not. And the xbox was never innovative. I don't want an xbox360 -even if I was given one, because it's a poor design. It violates the primary law of home electronics -you can hear that it's turned on, when the 360 was new I built a close to cutting edge pc for someone and in the same room you couldn't hear the pc was on when the xbox was on. The xbox 360 is really noisy. I know nothing about the noiselevels of the playstation3, but I do know what the controller look like, it looks exactly like the playstation1 controller. This is not beacuse that shape represents an ideal control paradigm, au contraire. The playstation controller have completely failed for large groups and etire genres of games. Ever played a first person shooter on ps123 or xbox? I have. In fact a friend of mine is playing Noone Lives Forever on his ps2 these days, since I have played it many times on pc I know it quite well. Trying it on the ps2 is painful. On the pc you need skill. On the ps2 this requirement is removed because it is technically impossible to implement. It is impossible to aim with a playstation controller. And on the xbox360 and the ps3 it remains impossible to aim. Watching people play halflife on a console is a pretty sad experience. But Nintendo has changed all that, their new control paradigm is something you can aim with, and slash with like a sword(a first, nothing has enabled that before) and fight like a boxer(another first) or a kung fu artist(another first) or ride a bicylce(another first)...
Fact of the matter is, the xbox360 and the ps3 are outdated. The ps3 just launched.
