And let morons, sorry -mormons, lead the way

I´m sure you´ve heard about these "religious" groups in the USA that have successfully removed darwin from the curriculum of several elementary schools, replacing it with a "science" they call Creationism.

Nothing is more dangerous to society than groups like these. They are worse than terrorists, north Korea and everybody. First of all they have no faith, no belief in any God what-so-ever. They are atheists in disguise. Second, their aim is to remove reason and rationale from the teachings of our children. And third, they do it so they can replace reason with superstition, rationale with fear.

Their aim is obviously to subvert society and take control of it. There can be no other explanation. Please give me one if you have one.

Their latest stroke of genius: Refuting the theory of gravity. God keeps us on the earth, there is no gravity. Ofcourse they´re lying and they know it, and in the US they´re getting away with it. Schools will remove the theory of gravity from the books and put in the hocus-pocus instead.

I find it hard to imagine greater evil. It´s just like those books, 1984, brave new world, the tragic dystopias imagined for our future. In Norway they´ve tried the same, on a lesser scale, the government actually funded schools by "religious" groups -which in turn threw the curriculum out of the window and sat there talking in tounge(what we call it). Some of them got shut down when the news came out.

But the theory of gravity? That is a bold move, and who is it exactly that makes it:

"Scientists" from the Evangelical Center For Faith-Based Reasoning. In Kansas.

quote
"Things fall not because they are acted upon by some gravitational force, but because a higher intelligence, "God" if you will, is pushing them down,"

spoken like a true believer by a mr. Gabriel Burdett, who apparently holds a few bogus degrees.

Now, what is his motive, the mumbo jumbo has clearly nothing to do with God; could it be money, power, the fact that he is plain evil?

Now, the mid-west of the US it is that has fallen most easily prey to this garbage, why? Because they "believe in God"? Because they are already "under-educated"? Because they are "inbred and stupid"? Shit, I´ve met people from "hell-holes" with close to zero education that was smarter than that.

I am always surprised by how many people fall for this bullshit, "religious" sects and cults are basic money-making scams slash run by psychopaths, take your pick. I tend to think it is both. I run like hell whenever I get near them. But it is time to take them seriously now, like in a serious threat. To our free society. We must at least keep them out of our schools.

Heck, they´ve even got Tom Cruise. :-)
